Face of Nation : Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas, who are getting married (again) this weekend, were seen arriving to the Le Château de Tourreau in in the south of France today, leading to speculation that this stunning estate is where they’ll have their second wedding.
The idyllic property looks straight out of a fairytale. It’s located on a 20-acre plot of land in Sarrians, with an orchard, vegetable garden, basketball court, tennis court, and fountains on-site, according to its website. Dating back to 1612, the grounds include a seven-suite farm, nine suites on the third floor of the chateau, and three “superior” suites (one is located next to a library and another has a jacuzzi).
It turns out that the super luxe residence, or at least part of it, is available to rent on the vacation rental site Airbnb. The chateau is literally classified as a castle on its official listing and costs $4,774 per night to rent for nine bedrooms. However, there is a different rate for weddings, which is disclosed upon request. At the time of writing, the chateau is fully booked until July 2o, but it’s also available to rent on Booking.com. Airbnb had no comment on Turner and Jonas’s stay at the chateau.
Joe and Sophie’s castle for the next few days “is one of the most exquisite private estates in Provence” and was “beautifully restored to reflect the 18th century,” according to the Airbnb listing. “Once the gates have closed, you find yourselves in a world of your own, a world of legend and history, as if you were in an ancient royal palace of which you were the new privileged king,” the description continues.
Considering the number of rooms on the premises, it’s possible the bride and groom are hosting their guests on the chateau grounds. Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra as well as Kevin and Danielle Jonas were also seen on location with Sophie and Joe.
