Face of Nation : Traffic on all lanes of the M5 northbound had to be held temporarily to allow fire fighters to tackle a blaze.
A lorry caught fire just before the exit slip road for the A4 and A403 at junction 18 near Avonmouth and Shirehampton.
This happened around 9.15am. Multiple fire engines were in attendance and within half an hour, the traffic was released but traffic remains slow in the area.
Fire crews are still at the scene but motorists are able to use the junction 18 exit.
According to traffic website Inrix, lane one of two remains closed and there is queueing traffic at the junction.
