Face of Nation : A car linked to a double-fatal shooting outside an Melbourne nightclub has been seized by police.

Security guard Aaron Khalid Osmani, 37, and 28-year-old patron Richard Arow were killed in the shooting outside Prahran’s Love Machine venue on April 14.

Four others were injured when shots were fired from a stolen black Porsche SUV, found burnt out in the northern suburb of Wollert hours later.

A silver Suzuki Swift shown driving in convey behind the Porsche on the night of the shooting has been seized for forensic testing. It was seen parked on South Yarra’s Simmons Street, around the corner from the club.

A second silver Suzuki Swift parked on the same street was set on fire by mistake. That car’s Queensland owners are not linked to the shooting, police said on Tuesday.

Two men wearing dark clothing were seen getting out of a blue Holden Colorado ute on Simmons Street shortly before the car fire.

Detectives are looking at whether the Love Machine shooting was a revenge attack after patrons were ejected from the club.

Last week police appealed for information about a maroon Ford ute, seen leaving the scene of the burnt Porsche.
