Face of Nation : A woman accused of the stabbing murder of a man at a Sydney block of units is behind bars after formally being refused bail.Officers were called to the scene about 8pm on Saturday after a resident heard a man screaming.
Sharee Lorraine Turnbull, 30, faced Newtown Local Court on Monday charged with murdering the 25-year-old man in Camperdown on September 28. He suffered a number of stab wounds and later died in hospital.
Police said officers searched a unit at the block on Sunday and arrested Turnbull. She did not apply for bail and was remanded in custody.
A Corrective Services spokeswoman on Monday confirmed Turnbull had been released to court-based parole – which applies to sentences not exceeding three years – in May. The case will return to court on November 25.
