Face of Nation : A motorcyclist has died after crashing into a car on a country road north of Adelaide. Emergency services were called to the intersection of Noack Rd and Rosedale Scenic Rd in Rosedale just after 3.30pm on Saturday.
It is understood a motorbike and a car collided on the dirt road, leaving the rider with critical injuries. A second rider, who was travelling with the man, and the driver of the car were treated for minor injuries.
A Medstar team attended the scene but the man died at the scene. Major Crash investigators are attending the scene of the crash. In an earlier incident, a Medstar chopper was sent to a serious crash in the state’s Mid North after a truck and car collided.
The two vehicles crashed on the Augusta Highway at Telowie just after 2pm on Saturday. Initial reports were that multiple vehicles were involved and that an occupant of the car was trapped by the console of the vehicle. The Augusta Highway is closed between Germain Gorge Rd and Flinders View Dr with traffic being diverted around the scene of the crash. Heavy vehicles are unable to use the diversion and will be held up until the crash is cleared. Major Crash Investigators are monitoring the crash from Adelaide.
