Face of Nation :Fukuoka (Japan) Railway Minister Piyush Goyal took time off from the G-20 meeting and traveled to Japan’s bullet train. On Sunday, they shared photos of it on social media. In this post, Goyal has said that through partnership with Japan, India will also experience the latest Shinkansen technology. This will revolutionize rail travel in the country.
Shinkansen Technology will be adopted for the first bullet train in the country. Safety and time restriction is the key feature of this technique. According to the plan, the bullet train racks will be launched from Japan initially. Later, under the make in India project, it will be constructed in the country itself.
The first bullet train in the country is expected to start from 2022-23. This can be done in Ahmedabad and Mumbai in 3 hours. According to a report, there is a plan to expand the railway bullet train network in the coming years.
