Face of Nation : The covert device was discovered in a lavatory at Pinewood Studios, Buckinghamshire, where the 25th Bond movie is being made.
A 49-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of voyeurism, police confirmed.
He was still in custody yesterday, Thames Valley Police said.
A Pinewood spokeswoman said: “We take this issue very seriously.
“We have reported the incident to the police and are supporting them with their investigation.”
Prince Charles visited the famous studios in Iver Heath this week and met Bond star Daniel Craig, fellow actor Ralph Fiennes and director Cary Fukunaga.
Charles laughed as Fiennes, who plays British Intelligence chief M, told how they had just been filming a scene where Bond gets a “good dressing down” from his boss.
The movie has been dogged by incident and misfortune since filming began.
Earlier this month, a controlled explosion on the set injured a crew member.
Investigators from the Health and Safety Executive have made initial inquiries, it was reported.
Just weeks earlier, Craig suffered injuries while filming on location in Jamaica, where 007 creator Ian Fleming once lived.
The 51-year-old actor needed “minor ankle surgery” to repair the damage.
The as-yet untitled film is Craig’s fifth Bond movie.
Last year, the release date was put back following Oscar-winning director Danny Boyle’s decision to drop out of the project.
It had been scheduled to arrive in UK cinemas in October, but is now due to be released in April 2020.
True Detective director took over filming duties after Boyle’s departure.
Alongside Craig and Fiennes, stars Ben Whishaw, Rory Kinnear, Naomie Harris and Jeffrey Wright will alsom appear in the movie.
Oscar-winner Rami Malek, Captain Marvel star Lashana Lynch and Game Night actor Billy Magnussen have also joined the cast.
Yesterday, Boyle said that Twilight star Robert Pattinson should be the next James Bond.
Daniel Craig has vowed he will appear as 007 for the last time.
The director said he was recently watching Pattinson, 33, in the science fiction horror film High Life when he realised he could be Bond.
He said: “And it was so bizarre because I was sitting there thinking, ‘Oh my God, they should get him to be the next Bond.’ He’s ready now.”
